One Sunday after Steve and I were first married, a man commented in church that we were obviously newlyweds because we were holding hands throughout our church meetings. I remember commenting to each other about how we always wanted to be inseparable, not just because we were excited about our new union.
Well, fast-forward nearly 3 years and we are rarely together in our church meetings. Why?
1) Steve is chasing Ben so that I can enjoy the talks
2) Steve is folding my programs that I haven’t pre-printed for the 19th Sunday in a row
3) Steve is helping others by serving in his busy church calling
While I still love holding hands, I’d take my kind, loving and somewhat more absent husband any day. Life just keeps getting better with you, Steve.
